2018 Ram 1500 Trucks, what changed? | Ontario Chrysler Toronto

700 × 393Change is good. But the carmakers at Ram also know that you don't mess with what works. The redesigned Ram is expected to continue to use steel for most body panels on their redesigned pickup. Steel allows for more complex design shapes. Toronto drivers can expect a nice styling line front-to-rear around the top of the wheel wells that gives the Ram a more muscular visual impact.

The 1500 will get a sweet boost with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with its direct injection and the option of turbocharging. FCA plans to improve fuel economy with fuel-saving belt-start generators in the next-generation pickups, too. The pickup will hang onto its raised hood and massive chrome grille, with a slight shape change. The headlights and taillights will both shrink down. Horizontal fog lights will be integrated into the front bumper.

The 2018 Ram 1500 keeps what works and features some very nice modifications.  If you’re not yet familiar with the Ram brand, stop by Ontario Chrysler
