2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Sets a New Record | Toronto

Brampton, Barrie, Mississauga and Oakville, next time you are out ice fishing with your crew and your cousin Edward muses, “I wonder what the fastest SUV on ice is?”, you can bedazzle him with your brilliance on the subject. “Why Edward, it just happens to be the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk!”

“You don’t say!” he’ll say. “Oh, but it’s true,” you’ll fire back. And then you can blow him away with a few other pieces of information.

On a frozen Russian lake, the Trackhawk managed to hit 280 KM/hr. Now, I don’t know about you, but if I was stuck on a frozen Russian Lake, I’d see just how fast my vehicle could make it back to a nice cozy fireplace, myself.

Not only did the Trackhawk get up to a screaming 280 KM, but it managed to maintain 257 KM/hr over a one KM stretch. How do you like them frozen apples?

Jeep says that unnecessary items were removed from the vehicle. So, I am guessing the driver’s aunt Martha likely had to walk back on her own. I hope he at least bought her a cup of hot chocolate when she finally ran into him back at the pub.

While the Hemi V8 engine can top-out at 290KM/hr on asphalt, I guess that’s about 10KM/hr too zippy for a slippery surface. Still pretty impressive though, wouldn’t you say? Your cousin Edward thinks so.

I bet you’re wondering where you can test drive one of those Trackhawks. I’ll give you a hint: It’s not a frozen Russian Lake. You can test-drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk at Ontario Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. In fact, give us a call at (844)-782-5311 and we’ll answer any other burning questions you may have.
