Back 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sky One Touch Power Top | Toronto, Mississauga

2020 Jeep Wrangler Sky One Touch Power Top | Toronto, Mississauga

Hold On to Your Hats

Top, shelter, refuge, shield, protection, concealment; anyway you say it you can talk about the nifty covers that come attached to the 2020 Jeep Wrangler. You of course have standard Sunrider soft-top or the three-piece Freedom hard top. However there is a new option blowing in the wind and it is the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon that has been blessed with it. Introducing the Sky One-Touch Power Top. As it comes equipped on this model you will be able to stroll into the local Chrysler dealership in Toronto, Oakville, Burlington, Brampton, Barrie or Peel to see these new inventions in roof top technology.

The Sky One-Touch Power Top is a combination of all the things you love about the standard Sunrider soft-top and the three-piece Freedom hard top. To be specific, you still have the added security as well as the quieter cabin and body-colour style of the Freedom top. The difference is with the option for the first and second rows to be open to infinity and beyond. If you think that is neat get this. It is a rolling, soft accordion-like roof panel that retracts with a press of a button on the windshield header. Nothing like a little luxury to jazz up your Jeep experience.

Looking at the new JL Sunrider top on the other hand, it is definitely an upgrade to the JK's, but its easier operation isn't quite that simple. Meaning that it is still a matter of getting out of the Jeep, unzipping things, and storing the panels somewhere. The Freedom hard top gives you al fresco motoring, but its T-top-like panels only cover the front seats and do have to be manhandled off the roof of the Jeep, stored likewise and possibly damaged in the process. However, easy does it and this option still of course is a plus.

If you prefer to travel sans coverage in your 2020 Jeep Wrangler, the Sunrider still remains the best option. However if you are in the need of saving a little cash the Freedom top is the way to go. However if you are not afraid of a little investment the Sky is the limit. If you go that way be advised that Sky roof is only available in body-colour and it is only an option that comes in a four-door Jeep Wrangler, on the Unlimited in Sahara or Rubicon trim levels.

So if you really prefer that high-end look on your Wrangler, then yes totally go for the Sky One-Touch Power Top. It's more usable than the Freedom top, much quieter and more secure than the Sunrider. The Sky One-Touch Power Top is also easier to operate than both of the older editions. However, no matter how you like to top off your Jeep you will still get that amazing ability to configure your vehicle just the way you want it. So buckle up, hats off for the road ahead and then enjoy the wind in your hair and the sun on your face.
