2021 Jeep Grand Wagoneer | Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton
We know, we know: 2021 is a long way off. Patience is hard enough to find in Toronto, Mississauga and Brampton some days, right? Well, we think your patience will be handsomely rewarded when Jeep rolls out the decadent 2021 Grand Wagoneer, a vehicle set to join other brands in the luxury SUV market sector with, at last, a third row seating option. Not since the Commander has Jeep ventured into the back row seating kingdom, but FCA reports that the Wagoneer has much to offer. Good things come to those who wait, as the saying goes, and here’s what we know so far about the vehicle some of us have been pining to see in 21st century form.
What will the 2021 Jeep Wagoneer offer?
Rumour has it the underpinnings from the next-generation Ram pickup will turn up here, so we foresee air springs on the new Wagoneer. FCA has said that the incoming Ram will join the ranks of hybridized vehicles, so we’re pretty sure the Wagoneer will follow suit. Watch for these powertrains: A 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 is a good possibility on the entry-level models, while the 5.7-liter and 6.4-liter Hemi V-8s may be on the options menu. A diesel engine will not be on the Wagoneer dance card. The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will be body-on-frame SUVs. The heart of a truck will beat under the leather and wood luxuries, and you will see a price tag to match. The Wagoneer will be the shorter model, while the Grand Wagoneer will plump up and stretch out in the manner of an Escalade.
Which vehicle will stand in well for the Wagoneer while I wait?
The Jeep Wrangler Scrambler
is a truck poised to hit the market in 2019, and it just might pique your interest if you simply can’t hold on till 2021. It’s a slightly different animal, to be sure, but we think you SUV hold-outs might just turn into truck lovers with the release of this one.
We’d be more than happy to walk you through our current Jeep inventory
. Because if there’s one thing we’ve learned here at Ontario Chrysler, it’s that there’s a Jeep that’s just right for everyone.
