2019 Ram 1500 Sport for Sale | Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton

550 × 366

We Canadians like to do things a bit differently, up here. In fact, we pride ourselves on thumbing our noses at the status-quo. It’s not often other people—like our neighbours to the south—actually notice that we like to kick mediocrity to the curb, but sometimes we manage to do things that raise an eyebrow and even create a little jealousy. Case-in-point, the 2019 Ram 1500 Sport.

2019 Ram 1500 Impressive Story | Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton

550 × 366

I was on the phone with my 87-year-old father this morning, rapping about many of the vehicles he has owned throughout my lifetime.  My favorite was our 1969 Plymouth Satellite which later became my first car. It was the coolest car on the block. That car brings back some pretty emotional memories for me and I wish I still had pictures of it. I am sure you have your favorite vehicle nostalgia you could drum up, too, Oakville, Burlington and Barrie.

Buzz for the Ram Mid-Sized Pickup and The Jeep Scrambler | Toronto & Mississauga

550 × 309

Just because you live in Mississauga, Toronto or Oakville doesn’t mean you don’t really want a pickup truck. A quick glance at the parking lot at work or the mall speaks volumes: trucks aren’t just for country life.  City dwellers have been in love with trucks for years now, but the pickup segment is on fire, with Ram 1500s flying out the door here at the dealership.  Which is why it’s so exciting that Ram keeps teasing us with the possibility of a mid-sized pickup, and Jeep Wrangler has been slow-cooking up the Scrambler. But when…

Is Roadside Assistance Worth It? | Mississauga & Toronto

550 × 304

If your car is less than 3 years old, you might wonder if adding a roadside assistance program to your list of annual automotive expenses is worth it. May we remind you that this is Ontario, where Mother Nature doesn’t care about your choice of air freshener, your favourite radio station or your warranty? Keys get locked in cars. Tires go flat in inclement weather conditions. And even the healthiest of batteries can go on strike during cold snaps. That’s where roadside assistance comes in. The short answer to the question, “Is roadside assistance worth it?” Yes.

Hey, What’s Your Car’s Name? | Mississauga & Brampton

550 × 232

My grandpa called his cars—all of them—Bessie, while my dad called each-and-every one of his junkers Betsy. Turns out, those are two of the most popular names to give your car if you live in North America. I have no idea what my mother called her forest green Buick, or if she did call her/him/it anything.  Horror maestro Stephen King knew what he was doing when he made one of his villains a 1958 Plymouth Fury named Christine. Have you ever looked at an abandoned classic car cruising around Mississauga, Oakville or Brampton in quite the…

What Does Lady Driven Even Mean in 2018? | Toronto

550 × 463

If you’ve perused used car ads in Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville or Toronto, you’ve probably encountered the phrase “lady driven” and wondered what it meant. A few decades ago, when women were less likely to drive their own vehicles, it was meant to imply that the car had been driven ever so gently. Maybe even with lace gloves on, at a very genteel rate of speed? Kidding aside, the mileage was assumed to be lower, the wear and tear on the car less pronounced. You know, she drove it to her Tuesday bridge game or maybe to the grocery…
