Does Jeep Gladiator Come in Two-Door?

Does Jeep Gladiator Come in Two-Door

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but no. The Jeep Gladiator does not come in two-door. Unless, of course, you mean two doors on each side, then Bob’s your uncle! But seriously…why would you want only two doors when you can have twice as many? Ease of use, people; ease of use. Jeep has done the research and more of you buy the four-door Wrangler than the two-door model, so that’s what we’re getting in the Gladiator.

Excitement is mounting for the imminent launch of the Gladiator. For those of you who have been waiting with baited breath for a re-worked, updated version of the Scrambler, you should be hanging-out on Cloud Nine at the moment.

Unlike full-size pick-ups, the Jeep has never been about endless selection in styles, but why mess with a good thing? Let’s make no mistake, though, the Gladiator is a big truck with the wheelbase substantially longer than the four-door Wrangler. The Wrangler’s wheelbase comes in at 118.4 inches, while the Gladiator busts down a few doors at 137.3 inches. With a total length of 218 inches the Gladiator is over two feet longer than the standard Wrangler. The old Scrambler had a 103.5 inch wheelbase which made it the Jeep equivalent of a parkette instead of a park. A tartlet instead of a tart. You get where I am going, here, right? The Gladiator actually has room to haul stuff.

The Gladiator’s bed is 5 feet long. Maybe it could have gone to six feet like the Jeep Safari custom-build, but Jeep was balancing off-roading with city commuting and came up with what they thought was the best size for a bed. It is considered a family vehicle first and a pick-up second.
