How long is the bed of a Dodge Ram 1500?

That’s an excellent question and here are the answers. Ram 1500 is available with 8’, 6’4”, and 5’7” beds. Now that we have that burning question answered, here’s a little more info on the advantages of each of the bed length sizes.
Eight Foot Bed on Ram 1500
This is the largest of the beds, at 8 feet, and it’s available only on the regular cab body and on lower-priced trims including Express, Tradesman and Bighorn. This particular bed is better suited to the work site rather than long commutes on the 400.
6’ 4” and 5’ 7” Beds
The 6’ 4” bed is available on all trims and body styles. If you’re interested in the Rebel off-roading truck and the quad cab style, this is the only bed length available.
The 5’7” bed is available on most trims except the Rebel, but only with the Crew Cab body style.
Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited trims bed options
The Laramie, Laramie Longhorn and Limited Trims are only available with 5’7” and 6’ 4” beds, but most models of the Ram 1500 are available with all three bed lengths. The Laramie is available in Quad or Crew Cab styles, but the Laramie Longhorn and the Limited are only available in the Crew Cab.
