Jeep Grand Wagoneer For sale in 2020 in Toronto, Mississauga, Ontario
Drivers in Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto and Oakville will have to wait just a little bit longer for the much-awaited Jeep Grand Wagoneer, which FCA has announced will be available sometime in 2020. The new version will be built in the USA at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant. The new model Ram 1500 will also be produced there, and the addition of these two new vehicles to the production line means 2500 new jobs. FCA has so far invested $10 billion and created 3,700 jobs at its U.S. plants since 2009.
The Wagoneer is a full-sized SUV that will implement the same body-on-frame platform used in next-generation Ram pickups. With no concrete news about the retro-look wood-panelled edition, we have heard rumbles about a strong rival for the Escalade crowd. FCA scrapped plans to use a stretched version of the unibody platform that will indeed be used for the next-generation Grand Cherokee. Not yet familiar with the Jeep brand? Can’t wait till 2020?
