Ram Truck and The Chrysler Foundation Give Scholarships in Partnership with 4-H
This year marks the 100 year birthday of one of
Canada's oldest organizations helping young Canadians to become future leader
of our country: 4-H. This well-known organization was founded in 1913 in
Manitoba on the ideology of giving “Head, Heart, Hands and Health” to others in

Chrysler, we have chosen this topic for our Ram
Blog? Well, simply because we are proud of the accomplishments made
by the Chrysler Foundation and Ram Truck Canada, who as partners with 4-H, have
provided this year $100,000 in scholarships to be equally divided between 100
At its debut, the youth organization was mainly
established in rural regions and focused on teaching new abilities to a wide
range of 8 to 21 years old members. Nowadays it has expanded to all communities
and has now more than 24,000 members across Canada.
If you watched the Super Bowl, earlier this year,
you may recall the television ad "Farmer" that was produced to highlight
"Year of the Farmer" proclaimed by Ram Truck.
The first new Ram truck was build close to 8
decades ago, but it was not until 1981, that the Ram name was born. While the
popular Ram 1500 has been named 'Truck of the Year' by Motor
Trend, the truck line up kept expanding with the new Ram Promaster
series as its latest edition.
